In this place which is no place

I declare the Druid Order of Tristram
In the apparent world.

I call to witness
And ask a blessing and inspiration of
The Gods and Goddesses
Powers of the north and the south
Powers of the east and the west
Powers above and powers below
The elements of fire and water
The elements of earth and air
The guides and guardians
The ancients and ancestors
The spirit of ocean and the abiding earth
May the work of the order ever prosper.

Divine creator, eternal spirit of light
I dedicate the work of this Order to
The greater truth which is your truth
The greater beauty which is your beauty
The greater goodness which is your goodness
Now and always.

Welcome to the Druid Order of Tristram, teaching the Olde Ways to a new generation!

Druidism is one of the oldest form of religion. It is a Nature oriented religion, that puts emphasis on having an inseparable partnership to Mother Earth, and on living in harmony with all things in the Universe. It honours the Earth as Divine Manifestation, the Mother of mystical experience, the hollow of God's hand.

It can be practiced in a group, called a Grove. However, the Druid Order of Tristram is an internet-only Temple and School, serving the solitary student with a free course in Druidry. We find this the best way to bring our work into the public forum and to make our spiritual practice accessible to all without obligation or prejudice. Without knowledge, the student can not have Understanding and Wisdom, as knowledge helps to better understand a situation or thing, and to give the student a better opportunity in making the wise choice.

This teaching is for those who truly wish to work towards transformation. It is an inner journey, a quest through  the mythic Otherworld of our own psyche, to the very centre of ourselves: the Celtic Heaven (Tir nan Og). This "Land of Eternal Youth" is seen not so much as a place, but as a state of being. Once we live from there, we discover that Heaven is here. We reunite Above and Below into a new Sacred Whole.
